Company History

Allendale Pharmaceuticals, Inc., ("AlPhar" or the "Company") was established in 1997 by Dr. Robert Staab and Gene Detroyer. The Company was formed initially to commercialize products developed by Allendale Labs, Inc. In addition to the self-development of products, AlPhar will focus on the business of innovative personal care products. The Company will seek to build essential strengths in a state-of-the-art technology with strong, flexible, lean management and "guerrilla" marketing. It is anticipated that the Company will develop or acquire additional products that will likely be marketed by Allendale Pharmaceuticals.
In December 1998, AlPhar acquired the Today® Sponge from American Home Products, Inc. ("AHP"). The acquisition included the approved New Drug Application ("NDA"), the brand name, all manufacturing equipment, and various registrations in 70 countries throughout the world, the Today® Personal Lubricant, and the Today® Condom.
